Great stuff Bob, loving the Orc Shamen! Keep painting those deads up buddy….er…um I mean troops up.
Some really nice classic stuff there, and good to see the Winged Hussar sneaking in too !!
Thank you, the old GW winged cavalry are pretty rare nowadays and my plan was to pick up a couple but with the inflated prices one was all I could afford!!?
Yeah that’s one of the problems with the old OOP ranges. I sure wish I’d salted away some stuff but you kind of think it’s always going to be available.
On the Kislevite, possibly you could look at historicals (Warlord Polish Winged Hussars might be ok) with the bigger GW guy as a leader? Just a thought ….
And a very good one, I may just do that 🙂
My goodness! Beautiful work, Mr. Tinpotrevolutionary. And I’ll pitch in with the rest of the crowd with particular praise for that winged Hussar!
Thank you Mr. Arkie 🙂 The hussar minis are brilliant and if I could re-mortgage my house I might even be able to afford a small troop of five!!?
Sounds like a reasonable course of action!
Omg!!! I absolutely love your painting style. It’s so smooth and refined. Do you start with white primer?
Thank you 🙂 I certainly do use a white primer on my minis and lots of washes and thinned down paint. It’s a very simple process and produces a result I’m very happy with. I may even post up a paint through on the blog one of these days.
